Some bad moments
VarageSale assigns powers to "local admins" to police the communities. The admins in my area act like bullies (lifetime bans, threats, extreme vetting, etc...). I reported some abuses and VarageSale did not intervene. I do not recommend this app.
I tried deleting my items on the app and it wouldnt let me. Dont bother downloading this worthless app. Stick to Kijiji.
I have mixed feelings about VarageSale. Does the app work as it should? Yes. Do they regularly update the app? Yes.
My issues are more on a societal level where some of the admins are "Cops" yet when they should be policing, theyre not. My other issue is that Ive had so many people bail on sales, not respond, not show up, etc. As a person whos used Kijiji with a lot of success, I had more solid deals on there than I do on VS. Im tired of wasting my time and will be returning to the tried and true Kijiji.
I have asked months ago and zero has been done to fix this bug. There have been at least 3 updates since my comment and your reply to say it would be repaired. Trying to type on the keyboard while looking at the open app sideways is Very Frustrating.
My iPad updated my varage sale app and it hasnt worked since. Deleted it.
Not going to re-install unless/until ALL fixes are addressed.
Really want to try this app but the only way to sign up is through facebook. I dont have facebook or any form of social media. Please provide another way for people do access.
